CorrectCare Awarded Contract to review procedures for Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction

CorrectCare was awarded a project by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC). This contract was awarded in August of 2004. The project consisted of an analysis of the current agreement between the ODRC and the Ohio State University Medical Center (OSUMC). The project included an in-depth review of four months worth of medical billing, comparison of current rates to commercial network rates, on site visits and interviews, and a general consideration of the system’s efficacy. The contract officially began in September, the final report was delivered in October, and an oral presentation is scheduled for November.
