Kentucky Correctional Health-Care Network (KCHSN) Initiated

On October 15, 2003 the Kentucky Department of Corrections commenced providing specialty medical care for their inmates under the newly established Kentucky Correctional Health-Care Network (KCHSN).  This network provides discounted medical services using public-sector physicians along with regional hospitals.  CorrectCare developed and implemented the systems at the direction of the University of Kentucky monitor, Dr. Phil Roeder.

Initial projections indicate that savings in the neighborhood of 30% will be realized.
